About Us
A proud heritage!
The Noosa District Rugby League Football Club was founded in 1975 and based at the Cooroy Sports Complex, (now home to many Pirates junior teams) and became known as the Noosa Pirates.
In the early 1980's the Pirates continued their expansion in the region and in a major move toward its future, relocated their Senior teams to Pirate Park at Tewantin, giving the club a home base location in the heart of the Noosa Shire.
The Pirates have won a total six A Grade/Division 1 Premierships in '77, '97, '06, '07, '08 and '17, plus many lower grade & junior titles.
In September 2019, both the Junior and Senior clubs elected to merge and become one united entity, known as the Noosa District Rugby League Football Club with its headquarters at Tewantin.
